ok when u order something from a vendor and said vendor said 1. product discontinued. 3. use this other cat# to order the item. 4. you use that new cat# and the item arrives. 5. experiment is done.
so now we need to re-order this said item. all we need to do is to order the same cat# yes?
apparently, if i use the same cat# as the PACKAGING of hte item that got shipped to us, the item cannot be ordered through the usual channels of the purchasing department. we need to do a web only order. HOWEVER, their web catalogue does not even HAVE the item listed. meanwhile, calls to their service (our account) rep have not been returned.
