ok
when u order something from a vendor and said vendor said
1. product discontinued.
3. use this other cat# to order the item.
4. you use that new cat# and the item arrives.
5. experiment is done.
so now we need to re-order this said item. all we need to do is to order the same cat# yes?
apparently, if i use the same cat# as the PACKAGING of hte item that got shipped to us, the item cannot be ordered through the usual channels of the purchasing department. we need to do a web only order. HOWEVER, their web catalogue does not even HAVE the item listed.
meanwhile, calls to their service (our account) rep have not been returned.
grrrrrrr
meanwhile, more fun times incoming.
